Global Supply Chain Excellence Specialist – APAC & NA

About the role

Join BASF’s Global Business Services team in Kuala Lumpur to design, optimise and implement supply‑chain services for the Asia‑Pacific and North‑America regions. You will work with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business demands into robust, digital service solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise GB/S services based on business unit demands, legal requirements, M&A, and strategic projects.
• Conduct feasibility, impact and cost analyses for new supply‑chain services.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, lead implementation drives and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
• Develop, test and roll‑out new services, calculating costs and delivering technical concepts with functional experts.
• Drive automation, paper‑less document flows and digitalisation of GB/S services.
• Integrate new businesses into the GB/S service structure following M&A activities.
• Gather requirements across time zones, perform deep‑dive analyses and produce written recommendations for stakeholders.
• Design and maintain analytical tools, dashboards and metrics to support supply‑chain decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics or Information Systems.
• 3‑5 years of experience in transport management, import‑export, or order management.
• Proven ability to work across North America and EMEA time zones.
