Global Supply Chain Excellence Specialist – APAC & NA

About the role

The Global Supply Chain Excellence Specialist will design and optimise supply‑chain services for the APAC and North America regions, aligning them with business demand, legal requirements and strategic initiatives. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to drive automation, digitalisation and continuous improvement across the Global Business (GB) network.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, design and prioritise new or revised supply‑chain service models, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory standards.
• Conduct impact and cost analyses for new services and provide input for tender strategies.
• Test and validate services before rollout, calculate costs and deliver technical concepts together with DevOps and business experts.
• Drive automation, digitalisation and change management initiatives across the GB supply‑chain ecosystem.
• Create customer‑specific and cross‑regional distribution concepts in partnership with SDU, Procurement, Finance and Customs teams.
• Integrate new business units into the GB service structure as a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in supply‑chain or logistics functions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, particularly OTC and Transport Management modules.
• Experience with customs management, import‑export operations and foreign documentary trade.
• Analytical mindset with proven ability to work with key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
