Environmental Health & Safety Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to join our Pasir Gudang site for a minimum six‑month full‑time placement. The role supports the preparation for Responsible Care audits, Global Safety Day and the ongoing implementation of our EHS Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating and filing EHS & S documentation and support the rollout of Responsible Care Management System standards.
• Help prepare for upcoming medical, GU/RA and Responsible Care audits, including gap analysis and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain occupational health and medical records and perform regular safety inspections on the plant.
• Collaborate with the IT team on digitalisation projects such as MS Teams and online training platforms.
• Provide on‑demand EHS services and support site‑specific EHS requirements.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Diploma or Degree program in Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Environment, Chemistry or a related field.
• Willing to learn, deliver results quickly and follow up actively.
• Available to work onsite in Pasir Gudang for at least six months.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Teams and other digital collaboration tools.
