Business Development Manager – APAC Payments

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead account management and market development across the Asia Pacific region. You will work with issuer processor partners to drive incremental revenue, co‑create innovative issuing solutions, and expand Mastercard’s presence in emerging payments spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute account strategies for regional processor partners to grow revenue and optimize partnerships.
• Identify and unlock new business opportunities with key processor partners.
• Define and implement strategies for Core, Services and Commercial New Payment Flows across APAC.
• Stay current on payments technology trends and integrate emerging solutions into partner offerings.
• Manage the processor pipeline, prioritize high‑value leads, and coordinate task forces to accelerate opportunity response.
• Collaborate globally and regionally to align product and partner strategies.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong experience in strategic account management, business development, and market strategy within the payments or financial services sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with senior partners.
