Branch Sales Manager – Penang & Sungai Petani

About the role

Lead and drive sales growth, agency development, and business performance for the Penang and Sungai Petani branch. You will recruit, develop, coach, and manage agency leaders and agents to meet production, profitability, and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch sales performance and achieve annual/monthly production targets.
• Implement sales strategies, campaigns, and business development initiatives.
• Monitor productivity, identify market opportunities, and expand market penetration.
• Recruit, develop, and retain agency leaders and wealth planners.
• Coach and mentor Agency Managers and Chief Agency Managers.
• Organise sales meetings, training, workshops, and development programmes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee smooth branch operations, monitor submissions, persistency, and service standards.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Experience in insurance/takaful sales management.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Proven track record in sales and agency management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
