Audit Manager - Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated and independent professionals to join our Audit team for Forvis Mazars. The Audit Manager will manage a portfolio of engagements to deliver high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of international and local clients and deliver quality audit and assurance services, including planning, directing and completing audits.
• Apply professional scepticism and exercise judgement on critical technical issues.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines, keeping them informed of progress.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on professional standards.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members, delivering trainings with support from the in‑house technical team.
• Manage staff performance, conduct reviews and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with the business development team on pitches.
• Oversee engagement financials – budgets, profitability, work‑in‑progress, billing and collection.
• Facilitate effective communication within a cross‑functional and culturally diverse team.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably at an international accounting firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across all levels.
• High ethical standards and respect for diversity.
• Proactive “can‑do” attitude with ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in IFRS.
• Proficiency in ISA.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
