AOG Spares Purchasing Support Specialist

About the role

The AOG Spares Purchasing Support Specialist ensures that critical Aircraft On Ground (AOG) requirements are met by managing external aircraft brokers and optimizing the end‑to‑back sourcing process. This role combines operational execution with strategic KPI development to drive sourcing efficiency and cross‑functional visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise performance of external aircraft brokers to meet AOG deadlines.
• Define, develop and monitor broker KPIs such as On‑Time Release (OTR) and quotation accuracy.
• Analyse AOG sourcing data, loan closures and part‑number risks to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Collect Customer Order Desk (COD) requirements and anticipate potential AOG events.
• Produce bi‑monthly reports for FHS Inventory Planning and support Business Continuity Reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement SUMMER system enhancements and improve data visibility.
• Monitor Multifunction Taskforce activities, quotation processes and broker performance.
• Handle PO/LO backlogs, invoice overdue tracking and pre‑quotation creation for COD and loan closure.
• Coordinate communication with HO FHS Inventory Planning regarding spending thresholds.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity.
• Experience in aerospace or high‑value parts procurement, preferably with AOG exposure.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sourcing metrics and drive improvements.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration skills.
