Team Lead – SMART Technical Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Team Lead SMART Technical Engineer to drive integration projects for its clients in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead a team of consultants, manage end‑to‑end technical delivery, and act as the primary client interface for complex integration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third‑party systems using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, or iPaaS tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user‑acceptance testing to ensure solution quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
• Monitor system performance, drive user adoption, and provide L2/L3 support.
• Coordinate with product vendors to resolve escalated issues.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing experience with proven team‑lead capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with GEP SMART (S2P) and demand‑supply management processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing, dynamic environment.
• Consulting mindset with exceptional client‑interfacing abilities.
• Prior experience leading implementation teams is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10‑18 years of relevant experience.
