SPS Mechanical Completion & Quality Control Coordinator Services

About the role

The SPS Mechanical Completion & Quality Control Coordinator ensures the readiness, conformity and successful hand‑over of SPS equipment for a major ultra‑deepwater oil & gas project. Working on‑site at the EPFS Contractor premises in Kuala Lumpur, you will coordinate inspections, support quality assurance and manage logistics to meet project schedules, cost and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inspection services via IQ‑ALL, review reports and perform QC inspections at contractor or vendor locations.
• Monitor and manage internal and external delivery and hand‑over of SPS equipment, including readiness tracking, release documentation and shipment certification.
• Support the SPS Quality Lead with audits, vendor approvals, NCR/TQ/RCA/LL registers and overall project quality assurance activities.
• Expedite critical‑path components and liaise with logistics and mechanical completion teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Comply with HSE site instructions, report anomalies and participate in HSE meetings, inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Engineer or equivalent qualification with 5‑10 years experience on SPS equipment.
• Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and effective communication.
• Team player able to work under the supervision of the Quality Lead and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SPS equipment and mechanical completion processes.
• Experience with inspection coordination tools such as IQ‑ALL.
• Proficiency in quality assurance procedures, including NCR/TQ/RCA handling.
• Logistics and expediting skills for critical‑path components.
• Understanding of HSE compliance and reporting.
