Software Project Leader (Embedded Systems)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Project Leader to drive the development of embedded software solutions within Bosch’s Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division in Penang. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and ensure high-quality delivery for automotive V2X, infotainment and cockpit projects.

Key responsibilities

• Work with project managers to define and drive software development schedules.
• Oversee all aspects of software design, cost, performance and quality.
• Coordinate software development processes, monitor progress and report status.
• Manage change requests, implement change management plans and communicate updates to customers.
• Lead subcontractor interactions to mitigate project-delay risks.
• Represent the software team in cross-functional discussions, including production and testing.
• Resolve engineering and process issues while adhering to Bosch Software Engineering Process and ASPICE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related science.
• Proven experience in embedded application development and software engineering planning.
• Ability to delegate tasks, monitor progress and achieve project goals.
• Strong team player with experience working in cross-functional environments.

Required skills

• Embedded systems development methodologies.
• Agile Scrum practices (experience a plus).
• Familiarity with ASPICE automotive software standards.
