Senior Oncology Product Specialist Representative

About the role

The Senior Product Specialist Representative (Oncology) will promote and sell MSD’s oncology portfolio to private and government healthcare professionals in the Petaling Jaya region. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving sales growth, and ensuring compliance with medical, legal and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve strategic sales objectives such as market and sales growth, formulary listings and new product priming while maintaining 100 % compliance.
• Develop and execute account management plans for top accounts, including territory planning, promotional activities (focus groups, lunch‑and‑learns, digital programs) and timely reporting.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, escalate when necessary, and capture competitor intelligence to refine sales tactics.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Microbiology or related science.
• 3‑5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably with oncology products.
• Proven record of meeting sales targets, strong presentation abilities and customer‑focused relationship building.
• Leadership competencies such as ethics, integrity, decisive decision‑making and collaborative mindset.
