Senior .Net Engineer

About the role

IC Markets Global is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to design, develop, and optimise highly scalable, low‑latency microservices for real‑time trading applications. You will work within an Agile squad, delivering robust, secure, and high‑performance solutions that meet demanding fintech requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build real‑time .NET Core microservices with high scalability and performance.
• Implement multithreading, async patterns, and event‑driven designs using Kafka or AWS SQS.
• Optimise systems for low‑latency, high‑throughput trading workloads.
• Ensure thread safety, fault tolerance, and efficient data stream processing.
• Contribute to architectures such as Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice, and CQRS.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with PO/SM to refine requirements.
• Write maintainable, testable code with TDD and conduct code reviews.
• Implement observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience focusing on .NET Core and C#.
• Deep expertise in multithreaded and asynchronous programming in distributed systems.
• Strong background in domain‑driven microservices and modern architectural patterns.
• Experience with event‑driven messaging frameworks (Kafka, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
