Senior Marketing Executive (East Malaysia)

About the role

AirAsia Aviation Management Services Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Senior Marketing Executive based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The role covers the creation, development and execution of local marketing and market development activities, reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with PR, Digital and Brand teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run local marketing and market development activities to meet business objectives
• Brief internal teams and agencies, approve media recommendations and creative concepts, and oversee campaign production
• Monitor, analyse and report campaign performance against business targets
• Align campaign schedules with PR, Digital and Brand teams and act as a brand ambassador for AirAsia
• Develop marketing strategies, conduct market research on trends, brand awareness and competition, and run customer and merchant surveys and offline events
• Write copy and assist in producing content for press releases, websites, brochures, social media, promotions and EDM
• Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers, track campaign metrics and handle ad-hoc tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline
• Experience in the airline, travel distribution, hospitality or similar consumer goods business is ideal but not necessary
• Previous experience managing and executing marketing, advertising and social media campaigns
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and to manage multiple projects within time and budget deadlines
