Senior Manager - AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – AI Engineer to design and deploy scalable, production‑ready generative and agentic AI solutions that improve business processes, customer experiences and operational efficiency for Zurich Insurance in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch AI‑powered applications, APIs and services that integrate with enterprise tools and workflows.
• Build autonomous and semi‑autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, tool usage and workflow automation.
• Implement multi‑agent architectures and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases.
• Establish MLOps best practices, monitoring, guardrails and responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on AI engineering experience or 5+ years in software/machine‑learning engineering.
• Strong background in Python development and software engineering best practices.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Building and deploying LLM‑based applications.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Design and deployment of RAG architectures and vector databases.
• Development of multi‑agent systems.
• Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
