Senior Executive, Finance Reporting

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Senior Executive to lead finance reporting activities, including financial accounting, reporting and reinsurance accounting. The role involves stakeholder management and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ledger tasks such as accruals, provisions, reconciliations and journal postings.
• Prepare and analyse ledger and regulatory reports for the Group and external regulators.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure finance processes are followed.
• Support business strategy through detailed financial analysis and data insights.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to projects and internal initiatives.
• Monitor, optimise and implement automated finance processes.
• Maintain ICFR controls in line with internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience in the financial services industry, preferably insurance or takaful.

Required skills

• Financial accounting and reporting.
• Ledger management, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Regulatory reporting and analysis.
• Understanding of ICFR controls.
