Sales Specialist – Acute Care Informatics (Malaysia)

About the role

The Sales Specialist Acute Care Informatics will drive growth of Philips' clinical informatics portfolio across Malaysia's public and private healthcare sectors, working closely with hospital teams, distribution partners and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical country sales plans to achieve sales, growth and market‑share objectives.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business, upgrade and expansion opportunities across public and private hospitals.
• Collaborate with Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring sales and account teams to create integrated value propositions.
• Work with distribution partners and partner managers on account planning, pipeline development and opportunity follow‑up.
• Lead customer discovery, presentations, demonstrations, proposals, tender responses and commercial negotiations for complex healthcare technology solutions.
• Translate clinical and technical capabilities into clear customer outcomes and support competitive positioning.
• Lead cross‑functional opportunity teams through influence, aligning commercial, clinical, technical, service, regulatory, finance, marketing and operational stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM system and use market intelligence to guide priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, IT or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in business development, clinical sales, healthcare technology, medical devices or enterprise software.
• Professional working proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Malaysia and periodically to the region.
