Sales & Marketing Intern - Fragrance

About the role

Givaudan, a global flavour and fragrance company, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The intern supports marketing and fragrance evaluation work, including trend monitoring, presentation preparation and laboratory and storage tasks. The internship lasts about 6 months, preferably starting in September.

Key responsibilities

• Marketing: monitor global and APAC fragrance trends, track Fine Fragrance and Consumer Products trends via social media and F&B pop-ups, follow new product launches, conduct physical store checks, prepare PowerPoint presentations and support document submissions.
• Manage FragranceLand administrative activities, including product passport maintenance and relaunch coordination.
• Fragrance & evaluation: support fragrance panel evaluations, prepare application samples, handle fragrance submission oil packing, prepare laundry wash testing and evaluation, prepare fragrance collection kits and monitor fragrance oil expiry dates.
• Laboratory & storage: maintain packaging materials and unfragranced bases, keep an updated inventory of them, decontaminate towels and clean laboratory materials, manage FragranceLand marketing products, prepare pour-outs for GFFM storage and organise FF internal scents into separate bins by category (Male, Female, Unisex).

Required profile

• Currently studying a college or university degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Able to complete a 6-month internship, preferably from September onwards.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn and take initiative.
• Genuine passion for fragrance and enjoyment of exploring and smelling different scents and products.
