Branding and Marcom Executive

About the role

The Branding and Marcom Executive will strengthen brand visibility and market positioning for BASF in Malaysia. You will support campaign leads in planning and executing integrated marketing communications, oversee digital initiatives, and create engaging content across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support campaign leads in developing advertising, public relations and content marketing plans.
• Oversee digital marketing activities, including social media, online advertising, content posting and WABA management.
• Create and adapt content for websites, social media, print and other marketing channels.
• Assist in organizing events, trade shows and promotional activities to boost brand presence.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide improvement recommendations.
• Manage marketing budgets, promotional item logistics and vendor/agency relationships in line with BASF policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in branding, marketing communications or digital marketing.
• Good understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (social media, email marketing, online advertising).
• Experience using graphic design and content creation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
