Researcher – Green Plastics

About the role

SIRIM Berhad is seeking a motivated Researcher to join its green plastics team in Kulim. You will work on pilot‑scale projects that explore sustainable plastic alternatives, gaining hands‑on experience in a cutting‑edge research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct experimental work on green plastic formulations and pilot‑scale processes.
• Collect, analyse and interpret data to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with senior researchers and cross‑functional teams to advance research outcomes.
• Document findings and prepare technical reports.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates or experienced candidates with a background in material science, chemical engineering or related fields.
• Strong interest in sustainable materials and innovation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
