Research Consultant (Contractor)

About the role

IQVIA is recruiting a Consultant for its Primary Intelligence team in Kuala Lumpur. The role works with experienced healthcare consultants and engagement leaders to build integrated research solutions that deliver market insights to clients in the healthcare industries. It is a contractor position.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and present their needs clearly, turning them into research designs and solutions
• Perform quantitative or qualitative analysis independently to identify issues and propose solutions
• Design and structure compelling presentations and develop detailed project documentation
• Assist Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals in reviewing client requirements, analysing problems and developing proposals
• Build knowledge of the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences industries and of IQVIA's processes and solutions
• Manage engagement-based work assigned and overseen by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals

Required profile

• At least 4-5 years of market research experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or consumer health, with strong data analysis and synthesis
• Able to run market research projects independently and handle day-to-day client interactions
• Resourceful in contracting fieldwork agencies and freelancers to manage fieldwork loads
• Previous healthcare experience in qualitative and quantitative project management is advantageous

Required skills

• Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Written and spoken English is a must
• Advantageous: data visualisation tools and AI analytics tools
