Quality Engineer – Line & Product Quality

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that the Sensors and ASICs production line meets all quality requirements. You will work on both line/process quality and product quality, interfacing with engineering, audit and customer teams in a fast‑growing semiconductor test facility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain line and process compliance with quality standards for Sensors and ASICs.
• Manage product quality issues, both internal and external, and coordinate with Product Engineers and Customer Quality Engineers.
• Enter quality data and generate SAP notifications such as Q‑Info, Delivery Release and QM‑View.
• Lead problem‑solving activities as the expert moderator for internal and external quality issues.
• Coordinate SPC activities for the Sensors and ASICs line.
• Act as internal auditor for PgP5, executing audits and verifying effectiveness against IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Support external/customer audits, including follow‑up and closure of related OPL.
• Participate in 6S initiatives, change‑management verification, lessons‑learned activities and MSA studies.

Required profile

• Experience in line/process and product quality within a semiconductor or automotive electronics environment.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards.
• Proficiency in using SAP for quality reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
