QA Operations Inspector

About the role

Alcon is seeking a QA Operations Inspector to join its manufacturing site in Johor, Malaysia. The role focuses on in‑process and final product quality inspections, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and documentation review for assigned production orders.
• Execute line clearance according to SOPs before production starts.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of documentation before and after each order.
• Enforce Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Report discrepancies and quality issues to supervisors for corrective action.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to Alcon’s Code of Business Conduct, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.

Required profile

• Minimum education: PMR or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret analytical results and compare them against specifications.
• Proactive in identifying quality issues and suggesting improvements.
• Commitment to follow SOPs, GDP, and GMP.

Required skills

• Use of measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers, and scales.
• Inspection and testing of products against specifications.
• Review and verification of production documentation.
