Professional Data Security Officer

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Professional Data Security Officer to join its manufacturing facility in Penang (PgP1). The role supports the Regional Office/DSO in plant audits, adapts to new ISP regulations, and ensures the protection of personal and corporate data across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Office/DSO with plant audits and implementation of new ISP regulations.
• Coordinate and control in‑house Information Security (IS) and Privacy (P) activities within the Penang manufacturing site.
• Develop and monitor technical and organisational measures for data protection and information security.
• Provide guidance to departments on data‑security risks and recommend remediation actions.
• Consult with management and user departments on privacy‑related issues and report findings.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of practical experience in data security, information security, or privacy.
• Experience in an international operating environment is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive mindset and deliver quality results on time.
