Process & Equipment Technician

About the role

Join Bosch Group’s newest semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang, as a Process & Equipment Technician. You will be responsible for driving ramp‑up and qualification measurements for final testing of semiconductor components, ensuring high data quality and smooth production start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ELFR and qualification measurements with full ownership.
• Book tester capacity and coordinate with line control.
• Prepare and set up tester cells, including contact unit changes and part tweaking.
• Load test programs via GUI, run initial parts, verify contacts and handle trays.
• Monitor measurement yield, flag issues early and collaborate with support functions.
• Serve as the interface between Quality, Test Development, Test Engineering and Equipment Engineering.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting on Advantest V93k testers and Cohu Delta Matrix handlers during ramp‑up and pre‑series runs.
• Identify, document and apply solutions or work‑arounds for recurring issues.

Required profile

• Operating knowledge of semiconductor test handlers and testers.
• Basic understanding of test program execution and GUI operation.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical issues clearly.
