Physician Clinical Executive – Clinical Solutions (APAC)

About the role

Elsevier Clinical Solutions is looking for a qualified medical doctor to join its APAC team as a Physician Clinical Executive. Based in Malaysia, you will act as the clinical authority for commercial teams, customers, and partners, providing expert guidance on the strategic use of Elsevier’s Clinical Solutions portfolio across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted physician advisor in sales engagements, leading opportunity identification, qualification, and solution‑based customer interactions.
• Deliver clinical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and value discussions to healthcare executives, physicians, pharmacists, nursing leaders, informatics teams, and digital health stakeholders.
• Partner with commercial teams to position Clinical Solutions within hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, ministries of health, and private healthcare groups.
• Lead conversations on clinical workflow integration, decision support, AI‑enabled solutions, evidence‑based practice, patient safety, medication safety, clinician productivity, and patient engagement.
• Translate clinical needs and workflow challenges into effective solution positioning and advise customers on driving informed clinical decisions and product adoption.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with recent clinical practice experience.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted clinical advisor to healthcare organizations.
• Strong consultative and communication skills for engaging senior healthcare stakeholders.

• Deep clinical expertise across multiple specialties.
• Understanding of clinical decision support, AI‑enabled healthcare solutions, and workflow integration.
• Ability to translate clinical requirements into product value propositions.
