Country Manager, Surgical Vision (Malaysia & Singapore)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Country Manager to lead the commercial operations of its Cataract and Refractive businesses across Malaysia and Singapore. The role is responsible for defining long‑range strategy, achieving annual operating plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies, financial forecasts and inventory alignment with in‑market sales.
• Lead, inspire and coach the commercial team while managing distributor relationships and operational KPIs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, government agencies, regulatory bodies and KOLs.
• Drive market growth by assessing trends, prioritising opportunities and implementing business processes.
• Oversee multi‑brand strategy for cataract and refractive products, pricing, reimbursement and compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Bio‑Science, Health‑Science or Pharmacy; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in healthcare or ophthalmology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multiple SEA markets, distributors and logistic partners.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, QA and legal requirements in the medical device sector.
