Overseas Delivery Services - Senior Executive (Logistics & Supply Chain)

About the role

BASF is hiring a Senior Executive for Overseas Delivery Services within its Kuala Lumpur hub, which supports BASF companies across Asia Pacific. The role sits between regional operations and the Supply Chain Nerve Centre (SCNC), leading performance monitoring, root-cause evaluation and corrective actions across APAC, EMEA, North America and South America. It is a permanent position with hybrid work options.

Key responsibilities

• Own Performance Solutions end to end: maintain understanding of processes and measures, run regular reviews and challenge existing solutions to maximise business value.
• Lead regional performance reviews, analyse digital performance signals and act as a trusted partner for assigned Performance Solutions.
• Facilitate root-cause discussions, develop corrective and preventive action plans with clear ownership and milestones, and track actions to completion.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, reliability and efficiency, capture successful regional practices and harmonise performance management approaches across regions.
• Work with other ODS Senior Executives, support peer reviews and give objective, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, operations management, economics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, operations or operational excellence.
• Practical experience in operational reviews, KPI reporting, performance management, root-cause evaluation and corrective-action follow-up.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influence without authority.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP and Power BI, with exposure to digital supply chain, analytics and automation tools.
• Basic-to-intermediate SQL.
• Ability to interpret performance reports and turn findings into operational actions.
