Motor Underwriting Executive

About the role

The Motor Underwriting Executive will ensure software quality and bridge the gap between IT and business operations, supporting Zurich's insurance processes in Kuala Lumpur. This role combines quality assurance expertise with data‑driven risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality control tests to verify software meets standards and user requirements.
• Develop, draft, revise and approve test plans and scripts aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Create test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic.
• Plan and execute user acceptance testing, document results and resolve issues.
• Use data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver recommendations to executives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and contribute to the control environment.
• Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with experts across the company.

Required profile

• Degree preferably in Business IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an MNC, insurance, banking or technology environment.
• Meticulous with strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Digitally‑savvy with a passion for optimizing digital experiences.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as a team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
