Legislation Content Specialist - APAC

About the role

The Legislation Content Specialist will act as the subject‑matter expert for APAC legislative material, ensuring AI‑ready, high‑quality content that meets both product and customer expectations. You will lead agile ceremonies, align editorial and technology requirements, and shape the content strategy for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as SME for legislation across APAC, maintaining awareness of legislative approaches in other key jurisdictions.
• Define and implement a content strategy for each supported APAC country, aligned with global priorities and customer needs.
• Identify and recommend future legislation content opportunities within the region.
• Coordinate editorial expertise across multiple projects to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with global standards.
• Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and embed agile methodologies to optimise delivery.
• Champion AI‑first editorial practices, using AI tools for summarisation, classification, enrichment, and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Editorial, Technology, Product, Commercial) and work alongside project managers and business analysts.
• Inspire and lead cross‑functional project teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Define and prioritise editorial backlogs, translating requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
• Provide editorial input into reporting and progress tracking, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex content challenges and offer expert guidance to improve customer outcomes.

Required profile

• LLB Hons (or equivalent) for at least one APAC legal jurisdiction.
• Practice experience in legislative or regulatory work (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal research, editorial roles, or legislative content management.
• Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and apply agile methodologies in a content or technology environment.
• Demonstrated AI fluency with practical experience using AI tools, LLMs, and automation in editorial workflows.
• Strong understanding of legislative processes and editorial standards.
