Lead Development Representative (Marketing Graduate)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Development Representative to join its Kuala Lumpur team. This position is designed for a recent marketing graduate who wants to launch a career in sales within a fast‑moving, technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads from trade shows, online inquiries and other sources using established frameworks.
• Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer needs and buying intent.
• Maintain accurate lead records in the CRM and enrich profiles with relevant insights.
• Collaborate with local Marketing, Sales, and Technical Sales teams to ensure smooth hand‑over of Sales Qualified Leads.
• Support marketing initiatives such as campaigns, events and webinars, providing feedback on lead quality.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Marketing or related field) with a strong interest in sales.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customer personas.
• Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn AVEVA’s solutions, value propositions and sales processes.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system for lead management.
• Basic understanding of lead qualification techniques.
