Front-End Engineer – Angular Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Front‑End Engineer / Angular Specialist to join AVEVA’s newly established AI & Digital Delivery hub in Kuala Lumpur. In this role you will shape the front‑end experience across partner portals, customer portals, and AI‑augmented applications, delivering polished, accessible and high‑performing user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Angular‑based front‑end applications for partner and customer portal capabilities.
• Develop and maintain shared component libraries and design systems for consistent user experiences.
• Implement AI‑assisted UX patterns such as conversational interfaces, intelligent forms, progressive disclosure, and real‑time feedback.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and performant front‑end delivery across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to integrate interfaces with APIs, MCP services, and search endpoints.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional front‑end development experience with a strong focus on Angular.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Angular, including standalone components, signals, state management, and reactive patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and building responsive layouts.
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs from front‑end applications.
