Field Service Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team on a 5‑month maternity cover contract. In this role you will support the smooth and efficient delivery of field service activities by coordinating customer orders, service‑engineer schedules, service follow‑ups, quotations and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Place and process customer purchase orders in the relevant systems, ensuring accurate and timely order administration.
• Plan and manage the daily work schedules of Service Engineers, ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Monitor service reports and coordinate engineers’ follow‑up actions and leads to ensure timely closure.
• Prioritise and coordinate service jobs in collaboration with Team Managers to meet business and customer requirements.
• Support the preparation and processing of complex or non‑standard quotations for field service activities.
• Monitor and maintain the service order backlog, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution of outstanding items.
• Administer performance agreements in close collaboration with the Service Sales team.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in service coordination, administration, order management or scheduling is an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a wider team.
