Environmental, Health & Safety Intern

About the role
This internship offers a hands‑on experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) within BASF’s Pasir Gudang site in Malaysia. You will support the EHS team in preparing for audits, maintaining documentation, and contributing to safety initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in updating and maintaining EHS&S documentation and filing systems.
- Support the implementation of Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) and other EHS standards.
- Prepare for Responsible Care audits, Global Safety Day events, and upcoming medical and GU/RA audits.
- Update and monitor occupational health and medical records.
- Collaborate with IT on digitalisation projects such as Microsoft Teams and online training platforms.
- Conduct on‑site safety inspections and help close audit gaps.
Required profile
- Willingness to learn new concepts and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
