District Leader – ASEAN

About the role

The District Leader – ASEAN will drive Philips’ commercial growth across the ASEAN region, overseeing partnerships with key customers and aligning market activities with corporate objectives. This senior position reports to central sales leadership and works closely with cross‑functional teams to shape strategy and deliver results.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commercial partnerships with customers in specific ASEAN markets, ensuring strategic alignment and mutual growth.
• Develop and implement market strategies, objectives and tactical plans in line with sales performance, segmentation and profitability guidelines.
• Lead the commercial team, coordinating with market stakeholders and internal functions to execute strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior managers to set goals, resolve operational issues and solve complex business problems.
• Contribute to corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects and personnel while managing budgets and schedules.
• Create territory plans and conduct strategic and tactical planning to allocate resources and drive performance.
• Design and launch go‑to‑market strategies for new services, supporting sales campaigns and monitoring KPIs.
• Establish work plans, schedules and performance standards to maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage talent across the team, including recruitment, performance management, compensation and career development.
• Drive budget planning and P&L management to optimise profitability and financial performance.
