Digitalization Intern – Software Development & Process Improvement

About the role

BASF is looking for a motivated Digitalization Intern to support software development and process optimisation within its Malaysian operations. You will work with Microsoft Power Platform tools, collaborate with business stakeholders, and help streamline existing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance citizen‑development solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI and related tools.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, enable adoption and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and propose digital solutions.
• Support administrative tasks such as preparing meeting minutes, slide decks and documenting requirements.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a diploma or degree programme in IT or a related field.
• Available for a full‑time, six‑month internship.
• Strong time‑management, prioritisation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Willingness to work onsite and collaborate directly with stakeholders.
