About the role
Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Putrajaya office. This is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on designing, building and maintaining data solutions using modern cloud and big‑data technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop data pipelines and processing workflows using AWS services.
- Implement data warehousing and analytics solutions with Snowflake.
- Process and transform large data sets using the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Write, optimise and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Create data transformation scripts and automation in Python.
- Design, build and maintain data models using dbt.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Snowflake and Hadoop.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming.
- Practical knowledge of dbt for data modelling.
- Ability to work on‑site in Putrajaya on a full‑time basis.
