Corporate Insurance Specialist – Kuala Lumpur

About the role

The Corporate Insurance (CLI) Specialist will act as the central gatekeeper for insurance governance across multiple countries, ensuring data consistency, compliance and clear accountability. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role supports local business units, brokers and insurers while coordinating insurance‑related projects and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and maintain insurance data (asset values, turnover, etc.) in relevant systems.
• Manage local insurance policies, premium payments and coordinate with brokers.
• Report, track and investigate insurance claims, including on‑site damage assessments.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely claim handling.
• Support internal projects such as EC/AP separation, M&A due diligence and construction insurance arrangements.
• Identify and procure compulsory local insurance and oversee procurement of service‑related coverages.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance governance, data management and claims handling.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to liaise with brokers, insurers and internal units.
• Knowledge of local insurance regulations and compulsory coverage requirements.
• Ability to support cross‑functional projects and coordinate insurance due diligence.
