Branch Operations Officer (Negeri Sembilan & Melaka)

About the role

Hong Leong Bank is recruiting a Branch Operations officer for its Negeri Sembilan and Melaka branches. The role covers customer service, product sales and cross-selling, and the safe handling of cash and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to walk-in customers and help achieve expected Customer Satisfaction and Mystery Shopping results
• Meet product targets such as CASA and FD book growth, account openings, cross-selling of personal loans, credit cards, portfolio sales and ASBF funding
• Use iPads or other devices for customer service and cross-selling, and call customers for service and sales interactions
• Carry out branch RCSA checks, accept and process deposits, withdrawals, remittances and other transactions accurately, and override transactions within bank-defined limits
• Manage branch cash holdings and end-of-day cash balancing (for the Chief Cashier)
• Follow staff rotation guidelines, the Bank's Code of Conduct and Ethics, and keep customer and bank information confidential
• Keep the work area clean and organised, attend training including e-learning and Workday, file reports and help with branch housekeeping

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduate or candidate with relevant work experience
• Experience in a financial institution or related field, with customer interaction, cash handling, transaction processing and sales experience
• Optional: FIMM / UT licence and PCE & TBE licence
