Associate, Nexus Client Delivery

About the role

MUFG Investor Services provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry, including fund administration, custody, trustee services and securities lending. This Associate position in Client Delivery reports to the Associate Director and offers a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fund accounting services, including NAV preparation, booking accruals, asset valuation and cash and portfolio reconciliations
• Prepare capital calls, distributions and their allocation
• Prepare fee schedules, including management fees and waterfalls, in line with fund documents
• Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle so that capital transactions and P&L are booked correctly
• Prepare NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables defined in the service level agreements
• Complete other ad hoc requests and projects
• Communicate with internal MUFG teams and external clients to meet deliverables and requests
• Prepare and assist with audited financial statements, audit assistance and other regulatory services as applicable

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, or a qualified accountant or other relevant qualification is an asset
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting, audit or fund administration experience in real estate or property accounting
• Strong communication with internal and external clients

Required skills

• Strong accounting knowledge, especially consolidation of profit and loss and balance sheets
• Microsoft Office, with strong Excel; willingness to adopt new technologies
• Experience with accounting software; Yardi is an advantage
