Product Specialist – Vaccines (Kuching)

About the role

The Product Specialist will promote and sell MSD vaccine products to private and government healthcare professionals in Kuching. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving sales growth, and ensuring compliance with medical, legal and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve strategic sales objectives such as market growth, formulary listings and new product priming through targeted promotion and relationship management.
• Develop and execute account plans for top accounts, leveraging deep customer insight and territory management.
• Plan and deliver promotional activities (e.g., focus‑group meetings, Lunch‑and‑Learn, scientific leader engagements, digital programs) on schedule.
• Ensure timely submission of activity documentation, reports and compliance paperwork.
• Identify and resolve customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Microbiology or related science.
• 3‑5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably with vaccines; strong presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and adhere to ethical standards.
• Leadership competencies such as customer focus, results orientation, integrity and collaboration.
