District Sales Executive – Sandakan

About the role

Joining Nestlé, the world’s largest Food and Beverage company, you will lead sales and business development activities for the Sandakan district. The role focuses on driving sustainable, profitable growth through effective distributor management across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own sell‑in and sell‑out performance for assigned distributors and territory, setting targets for NSRs and sales representatives.
• Plan and manage orders by category, monitor direct customers via AFS, and handle distributor credit management.
• Develop and execute coverage plans to ensure 100 % territory visit frequency for Nestlé and distributor sales teams.
• Maintain the customer database, trade assets, and cold‑chain logistics for the region.
• Identify and explore new channel opportunities, including general trade, modern trade, online, mobile, and vending‑machine sales.
• Ensure product distribution, hygiene, and merchandising standards are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of field sales experience in FMCG, with a total of 3 + years in sales.
• Proven ability to lead people and manage distributor relationships.
• Strong understanding of sales functions such as general trade, customer management, and field work.
