About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Claims Analyst for a six‑month fixed‑term contract in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves handling personal and commercial line claims of low to moderate complexity, ensuring efficient and customer‑centric service.

Key responsibilities

Document claims files by accurately capturing and updating data.
Determine liability, analyse policy coverage and assess damages.
Develop case strategies, evaluate claims and escalate issues when needed.
Establish and review reserves within authority limits.
Negotiate settlements and refer cases to subrogation or fraud teams.
Maintain legal compliance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged; internship or exposure to insurance/claims is an advantage.

Required skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
