Technician III – Molding & Tooling Engineering

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to join its Molding & Tooling Engineering team in Malaysia. The role focuses on complex mold tooling design and plastic injection molding processes, supporting production efficiency while adhering to strict GxP regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute highly complex tasks related to mold tooling design and injection molding operations.
• Make technical decisions within defined procedures, applying advanced problem‑solving skills.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain complete, accurate documentation.
• Ensure rigorous quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Complete all mandatory training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in automation or electrical engineering.
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Basic experience with molding machines.
• Ability to work within GxP regulated environments.
