System Delivery Engineer – On‑site (Kuala Lumpur)

About the role

Innovatrics is looking for a System Delivery Engineer to join its ABIS team in Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting cutting‑edge biometric identity solutions for government and enterprise clients worldwide, often traveling on‑site to ensure successful roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer the Innovatrics ABIS product for global clients.
• Own end‑to‑end client deployments, including on‑site travel (up to 25% of time).
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and troubleshoot performance across OS, Kubernetes, databases, network and applications.
• Develop and improve internal deployment tooling, monitoring pipelines and automated playbooks.
• Collaborate with Consulting and Engineering teams on product improvements and technical documentation.
• Train partner technical teams on ABIS administration and best practices.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of Unix/Linux server administration experience.
• Strong analytical and independent problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Malay.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
• Proactive, responsible and team‑oriented attitude.
