Senior Manager, Production Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Production Planning within its Supply Chain function in Malaysia. The role focuses on integrating manufacturing and planning policies to maximize capacity and ensure efficient delivery of eye‑care products.

Key responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives to align manufacturing and planning processes, programs, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure maximum utilization of manufacturing capacity, including labor, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee and lead multiple teams, implementing departmental plans and monitoring performance.
• Make strategic decisions affecting team operations, applying project management, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, and completing required training.
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold regulatory compliance across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Production Planning.
• Strong leadership and team‑management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
