Workplace Specialist – APAC (Kuala Lumpur)

About the role

The Workplace Specialist will lead the delivery of integrated, efficient, and future‑ready workplace solutions across the APAC region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will combine facilities management, workplace experience, and digital process optimisation to support transformation initiatives such as fit‑outs, carve‑outs, and renovations.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, planning and execution of workplace projects (fit‑outs, renovations, carve‑outs, divestments) ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes, reducing manual effort and errors.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety and regulatory standards through inspections, risk assessments and incident management.
• Engage with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Business Units) to gather feedback and communicate workplace initiatives.
• Assist in managing facilities budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or integrated facilities management (IFM) environments.
• Experience managing outsourced facility services is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems.
• Knowledge of IFM operations and workplace services.
• Vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
• Understanding of health and safety standards and compliance.
