Wave Technician

About the role

The Wave Technician will join our manufacturing team to ensure smooth operation of wave soldering equipment used in electronic assembly. You will work on‑site in our Penang facility, supporting production lines that require precise soldering of components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up wave soldering machines for each production run according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on wave soldering equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Document setup parameters, maintenance activities and any corrective actions taken.

Required profile

• Technical background or hands‑on experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with production and engineering teams.
