Travel Claims Senior Executive – 1 Year Contract

About the role

As a Travel Claims Senior Executive you will investigate, evaluate and resolve low‑complexity personal or commercial travel insurance claims. You will follow established protocols to ensure claims are handled efficiently while delivering a customer‑centric service.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and update claim data in compliance with best practices for low‑complexity travel claims.
• Determine liability by gathering facts and confirming policy coverage.
• Assess damages, establish timely reserves within authority limits, and work toward prompt claim resolution.
• Communicate proactively with customers, respond to inquiries, and follow customer service protocols.
• Manage expenses by working within vendor‑approved networks and overseeing outside contractors.
• Ensure legal compliance with laws, regulations, and internal controls, and refer cases to sub‑rogation or fraud teams when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant claims handling experience, preferably in travel insurance (medical, trip disruption, personal accident, baggage, etc.).
• Proven experience handling medium to high‑complexity claims, including escalations and sensitive customer cases.
