Technician / Key Handler

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Technician / Key Handler to join our Operations team in Ipoh. The role supports the day‑to‑day maintenance of hotel and Airbnb properties and ensures secure and efficient key management across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Manage the issuance, collection and tracking of keys and access cards for hotel and Airbnb guests.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, key movements and inventory of spare parts.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff requests related to room readiness or access issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good communication skills in English; ability to interact with guests and team members.
• Physical ability to handle manual tasks and lift moderate weights.
