Supervisor, Production Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Supervisor, Production Management to lead a manufacturing team in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement across the eyecare product line.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and processes are followed.
• Manage production activities such as assembly, material forming, processing, treating, and packaging.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales and other functions to develop production schedules and allocate resources.
• Plan, prioritize and manage line maintenance and downtime to minimise disruptions.
• Lead or participate in quality investigations and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment, develop talent pipelines and foster a culture of excellence.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GxP) regulations, SOPs, documentation and training requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in production management within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to make day‑to‑day operational decisions and manage associate performance.
